It bothers me to see people throw away perfectly good food. One time, I saw a whole donut in a trash can. It was sitting on what looked like a clean piece of paper, and I could tell that it hadn't touched anything dirty in the trash can. I did exactly what any reasonable person would do in that situation. I carefully extracted the donut from the trash can, ensuring that it didn't touch the side and ate it. No big deal, right? Wrong! Society has these ridiculous rules that as far as I can tell aren't written down anywhere. How is anyone supposed to know what is 'socially acceptable' or 'sanitary'. My small moment of delicious victory was abruptly disturbed by a chorus of disgusted cheerleaders. People can be so insensitive. To this day, they still call me things like 'TrashEater', 'DumpsterDiver', 'HomelessJoe', and 'SmellyBoy'.

This was a great disguise for when I went sifting through my neighbors garbage. The lady of the house turned the lights on, but I was able to blend in perfectly with the other raccoons.
