This costume has been designed with slots so that your hands can slip out from their covers without taking anything off... We are going to add either a Santa Hat or red ribbon around the neck and use it in our Holiday parade and Festival for the children. Everyone will want to take their photo with him. It arrived in a nice protective package that can be re-used for storage - - - it also arrived quickly after ordering.
Wow! You Can't Beat This For The Price!
This is a surprisingly well-made costume for the money! I have worn mascot costumes before and I was surprised how well the construction and materials were. Of course it is HOT and you don't want to have the head on for more than about 45 minutes or an hour at a time. I would strongly suggest not wearing this outside in the summer. The feet are not made for walking on concrete and such for too long unless you velcro or attach some sort of treading to the bottom. You will wear the bottoms out very quickly if you don't. I have gotten more use out of it than I ever thought I would. I am 5 feet 8 inches and that is about the tallest I would recommend for this costume. It also has velcro "trap doors" in the flippers so you can get your hands out quickly if needed. Worked like a charm. I am very pleased with this purchase.
