I bought these pants for a theatrical costume. Even though I'm a woman, they fit just fine. I'm not surprised, as they have an elastic waistband and are otherwise just baggy pants made of light cotton. Also, the cuffs around the ankles worked well, because I'm petite and they kept the pants from drooping around my feet.
Overall, I highly recommend these pants for costume use. If you don't mind people staring at billowing leg fabric, then I would also recommend them for everyday wear. They are lightweight and comfortable, and thankfully not too shear.
Fine for what they are....
I ordered these and then was a bit dismayed to check tracking and find they were in PARIS FRANCE having been shipped directly from INDIA...HOWEVER they were shipped Fed Ex three day air and arrive well before other things I'd ordered that were shipped from local vendors. So service was great and I guess we are ONE WORLD. The pants are 100% Rayon and the fabric is thin but the seams appear to be well sewn and the legs end in a sticked three inch wide cuff with two working buttons rather than the cheap elastic found on some costume pants. The waist is also well made. It is about two inches wide and has four strips of elastic sewn in to keep it in place. All said, I am very happy with these pants. The material could have been thicker but it is not the dreaded "see through" as someone esle noted.
Look good but don't last
Bought these for spouse who is on fight cast with pirate/Renaissance shows. They looked sharp but unfortunately, the material is very thin and the seam "blew" after one "Fight" weekend. If this is just for costume-good choice. Cool material in hot days.
