This costume did justice. I was really excited when I received it and I couldn't stop smiling while trying it on. I'm about 5'7 and weigh 130 pounds. I tried hitting the gym whenever I could for this thing, I have a slight build I wish I'd work out my legs more. Anyways it fits nicely. I only wore boxer briefs underneath. I wore it during to a party and received multiple compliments. The material is pretty tough and I found out because during the party a buzzed decision arose that I should cut a small hole to smoke a cig and drink while wearing the mask. It's one piece which is a down side but first I tried tucking the mask under my suit and it wasn't that noticeable since everyone asked me where the mask was so they can wear it. I'd take it to a tailor to see if they can make it the mask removable. Well worth $50 you'll feel great in this thing.good
this is a good costume for the price, it looks better than the picture from the front, the only problem is that the zipper on the back is pretty noticeable...really noticeable actually and the eyes are good but people can see in the eyes as good as you can see out of the eyesmy son loves this

This costume worked great however you have to be careful with the elastic straps to hold the jetpack on they are poorly done. We used safety pins through the border margins of the plastic and pinned it on worked great. Other than that its a inexpensive way to be Buzz and the kids enjoyed it.Great product

I got this for Halloween 2010 and it was a huge hit. It is very lifelike. It is big, hot and heavy but that is to be expected. You will probably need someone to help you put it on. The head is a bit loose and unless I wear a baseball cap underneath to hold it steady, it is difficult to keep lined up with my eyes.

I got the large suit and I am 6 ft 6(about 2 meters) and about 230 lbs. The height was good, but it was kind of snug around the chest. I wore a baseball cap backwards underneath the head, that made it fit better and also was cooler because the rubber wasn't against my skin.
This wookie was a huge hit at the costume party I went to. I would recommend that you practice making wookie sounds for at least a few days before hand. This was during the middle of the summer, but I didn't get unbearably hot unless if I started dancing. The gloves are all rubber so my hands and face were kind of sweaty. I would recommend drinking beer, or something out of a hard bottle because with your newly found wookie strength you will crush a lesser plastic cup. The bag on the bandoleer is great for holding wallet, camera, and condoms, because if you are wearing this you are getting laid.
The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is some of the buttons were popping off the back...Great suit
Very nicely done, very real from afar, from up close, the mask needs some work and the fangs should be a bit different... more real maybe, the hair is incredible but few, there are some bald spots and chewy never got to being that old, the bag is very realistic from afar as well up close is's very cheap made of latex needs a lot of work. The mask is latex and fits very loose on a normal head, it has to be fixed from the inside, maybe add a few more things in it, will see if I can post some pics after I fix it, now all in all a great suit not for party but more like for conventions or some show, it gets very hot inside after a few minutes, I had a friend that's 1.80 mts and it fits a bit loose, with another friend that measures 2mts exactly it fitted just right.> Click to See Editorial Reviews

So I'm not a big guy, pretty average in size. I'd say the sizing guide is almost just about right. But... I pretty much had to wear some jeans under if not there'd be no need for my tailor to ask which way I wear my pants if you know what I mean. Another gripe is that there is no way to hold the buttons/straps down to the front of the costume. The Mustache is a little uncomfortable and the hat is super huge. The gloves came with like two left sides and there was absolutely no way to close the back. That velcro did not stay closed for anything. I ended up having my girlfriend safety pin everything that didn't sit still. Aside from all those little issue, the costume was a hit and it was refreshing to be someone different.WAY Too Small.
This runs insanely small. Ha! I got it for my boyfriend and the legs ended right under his knees and he's not that tall at all! I should have gotten him a large but he generally wears a small or a medium so it's so weird that it's made that short! It still looks pretty cool though so I am giving it a 2. The over-all straps don't match up at the top which is another lame mistake and lastly the back only has two super small pieces of Velcro that don't stay shut at all when you move so his entire back is out of it. I'm actually just going to wear this for Halloween instead cause it fits me perfectly and I'm a female that's usually a size medium. I once dressed as a friar for Halloween and wore this costume. The costume pack includes the robe, collar with hood, a belt, and a necklace. Everything about this costume is cheap. The material of the robe and hood are very thin; it's thick enough that it's not see-through, but if you don't have other clothes on underneath you will freeze. The belt is just a piece of white nylon rope and the cross necklace is a thin piece of material that is gold on one side and white on the other attached to a thin gold necklace. You can find better monk and friar costumes, but most of them cost more money. If you're looking for something that's inexpensive and aren't planning on going commando underneath, then this MONKS ROBE works fine.OK

It is not entirely obvious from the photo, but this robe is TIGHT. That is, the circumference at the base is very narrow, preventing you from moving your legs apart and making it difficult to walk at a normal pace. I ended up cutting slits down both of the sides so that I wouldn't fall over.
Also, the material is very cheap and looks artificial. I ended up buying another, more expensive robe locally and trashing this one.

This costume shipped and arrived on time! it came with all the pieces it said to have and was pretty good quality as well! the only downfall was that the costume smelled so strongly of like mothballs or maybe it was the checmicals they use to treat the fabric, I don't know, but i had to air it out for 3 days and used fabreeze and it still smelled pretty strong.Incomplete for this price - and stinky!
The costumes always look good in the pics. This one did not come as well as advertised. There is no way to "secure" either the vest or the jacket closed. It would take a nickel's worth of velcro and the jacket/vest would stay closed. So the whole night at the Halloween party, I kept having to close the jacket and vest.
The boots were the worst part. When we opened the packaging, the smell of the rubber/plastic/whatever the material of the boot coverings were was overwhelming. We had to leave them outside for a week (not being facetious - a week) for them to air out. It was awful. And the boots themselves have no way to "hold" up. They kept falling down to my shoes, so they were pretty well useless.

only errors in this order were the loose threads, even though this is the fancy and relatively much more screen accurate version. (At a local costume store compared both this and the economy version of the costumes.) Thankfully the seller was nearby so delivery was basically the next day without the extra fee. The detailed mask alone is worth the cost, but I still bought it for the robe/trenchcoat which had some loose threads but otherwise very pleased and very entertaining over this Halloween season, and would look forward to its future use and sales with this seller as well! Even though this costume includes just the overcoat, it is a good inversion, specially if you think long term and versatility.
It is made of quality polyester, and it is probable that it will survive for more than just one Halloween, specially if you treat and store it with care. My package states that the coat will fit to sizes up to 6 ft and 200 lbs (183 cm, 90.72 kg). Be warned, it can not be buttoned as it does not have buttonholes - it is made to be worn open. The decorative buttons are made of plastic, but they look like real metal and have a Victorian flair, and it doesn't scream "Cheap!", as it is usual with this kind of costumes.
The fact that you can combine it with your own pants and shirt helps to give the outfit a more serious and elegant appearance than the cheesy image of the vampire with the widow peak and the shiny red and black cape. This product arrived on the estimated arrival date, which is great because it was needed the day it arrived! I ordered it the 15th and it arrived on the 19th with standard shipping. The packaging was nice and organized. I ordered this product from Toynk Toys. I ordered this for my friend so we could coordinate costumes. He was Hercules, and I was a Athena. The costume served its purpose well, and it stayed on pretty well. The skirt part of the costume is pretty awesome! However, the pleaded part shown on the front of the skirt in the picture is not on the back. There is just plain brown material. I got a cape and pinned it to the shoulder pieces to hide the plain material. The skirt was about one inch above his knee caps, so the length was pretty decent. The waist is elastic so it should fit most sizes about 27"-40" around the waist. The gold on the skirt is very shiny and rich so if you are going for the rustic look, this is not it. I bought it for my husband who was my zombie groom and performed the thriller dance at a Halloween party. Although it was less expensive than other male zombie groom costumes and made rather simply (all one piece), as he completed the look with zombie makeup and a wig, he got many compliments. The gray gauze drape attached to the piece definitely helped to add extra spookiness.
Minus 1 star because:
1. It didn't come with a pair of black pants

Picked this up as part of a cosplay I'm building. Seemed cool online.
Got the product & was fairly disappointed. The cap was horribly painted. Paint was slapped and off the design markers all over. Been working on removing the paint to repaint it myself.
The shirt was sewn horribly. Back doesn't line up with the front on the shoulders. Bunching at seams throwing off the tattoo designs & the sleeves were too short. All round an odd fit. Had to sew the gloves to the sleeves just for the length.
Was expecting better quality considering it is from Rubie's. I highly recommend finding something better.Good concept. Odd sizes

This costume is the only viable option when considering how to have a decent Captain Jack Sparrow costume. Everything else is either horrible or not even close. This Jacket alone would cost you 200 dollars to find a comparable one.
With this costume and a few affordable upgrades (if you so choose to make an accurate replica costume) you'll be winning costume contests with this at the heart of your wardrobe. Pieces I'd suggest you upgrade from this costume: Attach your own buttons, use two replica belts and sword holder, a longer sash and you'll be set. The pants do not have belt loops but through a few modifications they will be perfect. The vest is amazing (short in the back however) and the jacket could use some pins keeping the sleeve cuffs together.
I combined this costume with the 20 dollar Disney bandana w/ dreads (I wasn't happy with that wig) combined with the 7 dollar walmart wig to create a somewhat more accurate jack sparrow wig. I would suggest...Excellent basis to work on...

I'd been looking for a costume in Germany but i didn't find any decent one, till i got tipped off for looking in America to find a nice one. The shipping was 33€ (express) and i found it ok. I can't tell about the costum-fee as i havent recieved the bill yet, but i think they will just ask for 19% of the costume price which was , shipping excluded 110€. So i think i got to pay about 20 € on top for custom-fee.
The Costume is really nice and the best thing is by far the coat, but the rest is compare to other costumes i ve seen so far really nice as well. It will need a few stiches as the buttoms of pants and vest come off really quick, but thats easy to do.
