Worth the price
This is an expensive costume, no doubt, but the quality is almost stage-worthy. The materials are all very realistic looking, and the clasps for the cloak are made out of metal. The helmet is soft rubber, which is not what I was expecting, but it looks just as good as a hard plastic helmet would, and it's more comfortable. The only downside is that you have to buy pants, boots, and a weapon to match, as they are not included.
Good quality costume
Just received this item, and I am pleased with the quality.
Even a fat guy like me (5'10" 240 lbs. beer gut) can fit comfortably into the XL size.
You may want to pick up a lint roller to get rid of some of the extra hair clinging to the tunic from the faux fur.
The belt that comes with it is kind of flimsy, although the buckle is metal.
The helmet that comes with it is rubber, it looks good for what it is, and it elicited plenty of smiles while I was driving to a friends party from other motorists.
Leggings are wide enough to slip over pants and boots (note that this costume does not come with pants), I like the faux fur but the fake leather wrap that goes around the arms and legs are on the cheap side.
All together, it is a good starting point for putting together a Viking costume that you can use multiple times. But if you are thinking of taking this to a Renaissance Fair, you may want to look into something...
Great for Hubby !!
The quality of the costume was decent, but, I felt the price was extremely high for a costume. However, hubby was happy with it.
