I liked the look of this product and the feel was nice as well. The craftsmanship was good compared to most costumes you find at the stores. The only issue I had with this product was the sizing. "one size fits most adults" is not a proper sizing tool and did not work in my case. I am of average height. I am slim muscular build and the top part of the costume didn't come down to my waist. It should have not only come to my waist but provided some overlap with the pants.
All in all the costume will be okay if you are shorter, then the pants may be a little long, or if you find a shirt that is a close match to the costume so you can blend the mid section.
Please put a real sizing chart or measurements on the page.Great Lion Guy Costume
Bought this for my 18 yr old son who had to be a lion for spirit week, but didn't want to look "dumb" or "cheesy" or feel miserable. He was very happy with Macho Lion. Comfortable and looks as cool as you can in a lion suit! lol. He is 6 ft tall, muscular and lean. It fit great.Great lion costume

Okay, first off, I did like the costume, don't get me wrong. If you need it for a party, then it is okay. If you're doing something for the civil war though like a play or a reenactment, I would not recommend this costume. The color in the picture shows a dark blue, which is what the Union wore during the civil war, but the actual costume is light blue. This jacket is good for the price. That's about it. It is not fitted in any way, and comes with a flimsy belt. It was needed for one night (as is often the case) and was worn by an energetic teenager. I noticed when it returned home that there was a big tear along the seam under the arm which was repaired easily but for the price paid and for what it was needed for, it did the job.Cute
Although they are of a cheap material, I knew what I was getting. So the price was perfect. It was used for decoration but I really believe it would have held up well if used as a costume. Arrived as scheduled.Good for the price
My youngest son needed an inexpensive Santa jacket for a short Christmas play, and this product fit the bill. My older son also wore it to film a video for our Church Christmas program. The jacket held up for both activities, but we had to throw it away after that. However, that was about what I expected for the price. The jacket and hat are not plush like traditional Santa suits. Rather, they are constructed of a felt-like material that will pill and come apart with time and use. Again, this is an inexpensive piece, so it met my expectations. The belt is a thin synthetic material with a plastic buckle. We pinned it in place, and it served its purpose nicely. If you're looking for an authentic-looking, durable costume, I suggest you look elsewhere. Civil War Union Officer Uniform Costume -

I bought this for Halloween costume is ok for Halloween or a costume party, but if you're looking for it to be a little closer to the actual uniforms then it's not very realistic. The shade of blue depicted in the picture looks a little closer to the shade actually used one the real uniforms, the shade of blue on the actual costume looks more like I should put on a red cape and an S shield on the chest and go as Superman the doorman. It's more of a web color royal blue or an azure blue rather than the dark blue that was actually the regulated color. And that's not the only color problem. The cuffs and colar are a brownish color when they should be blue as well.
The buttons are gold colored with an eagle and shield motif on them. That's nice for the appearance of the costume. But their floppy, I was afraid I'd pop a button when I tried this on. Yeah this is a costume that you may wear just once (maybe twice), or even just once a year. But you really don't want to have one of...It worked

I just got this last week and wore it to our first halloween party. It was a huge success!! My wife went as a Border Patrol Agent and had me handcuffed when we entered the party. I've seen some of the other reviews and for people to pull the racist card on this is beyond ridiculous! It's all in good fun. My hispanic friends thought this was hilarious. I'm always looking for a costume that is different to wear to an annual birthday/Halloween party. In the past I've gone as an INS agent, pinata and such. They dress as characters on Spanish TV as well as your regular costumes. They LOVED this costume.
I hate that those Politically-Correct people have no sense of humor.

This is why you don't buy from mass produced costume suppliers. 'Faux leather.' Yeah right. I got it in, and it was freakin' cotton. Thin, weak, worthless cotton. I mean I wasn't expecting a big sturdy leather jacket. But faux leather generally means pleather or even some sort of cheap vinyl. But no. This is outrageous, I feel as though I've been robbed. I wanted to love this costume, but I must say it is not quite as amazing as it looks in the picture. Parts of the costume that look like they are a leather quality are really just cheap velvet, and the belt is made for an oversize santa costume, so you have to cut it in half just to make it fit. The feather also was snapped, which because of the packaging was waiting to happen. It is also a very expensive costume.
I still would not mind wearing this. It is the best robin hood costume in my opinion. Just realize it is not as amazing as it looks in the picture.better quality than expected!
Costumes tend to be very shoddy affairs, but this one exceeded expectations! Only complaints were: feather in the cap arrived broken (easily replaced with a crow feather), and the green trim on the vest bled onto the shirt after a sweaty party -- but it came off with stain remover. My husband wanted these to go with his Halloween costume. They are awesome and we got some good laughs. I gave 4 out of 5 because the puffiness in the arms were different so we had to make some adjustments. We got footless pantyhose and put those over the arms which made it more realistic. So sheer you could see right through it and it does not even have finished edges. They are just served. The shirt they sent us was to appear as a button down shirt except it had no buttons. It was velcro. This is the first time I have ever felt the need to write a bad review for a product. I wanted the shirt in the pictures because of the bones in the chest and the arm, however the shirt I received only had 3 cheesy rib bones on one side. I was extremely disappointed. Ordered this as a last minute Halloween costume idea last year. Suffice to say, I ended up creating a makeshift Hulk Hogan costume instead.
PROS: This thing is HUGE, so you will definitely be the center of attention if you wear it out to a party or a bar.
CONS: As I said, this thing is HUGE. The photo doesn't do it justice. If you're planning on wearing this out in public, good luck. It's quite cumbersome and heavy. And if you need to use the restroom at any point in the night, it's gonna take one hell of a magic trick.
It was a creative idea in theory. In execution, it's more trouble than it's worth.Lots of fun!

I was extremely displeased with this product. Not all of the parts were included in the package shipped to me, namely the luscious blonde woman pictured from behind in the photo. Instead a cheap doll, with no orifice whatsoever, was included in her place. I am bewildered as to why the other reviewers rate this product so highly because, personally, I derived no pleasure from it whatsoever. I can only deduce that the extremely happy man pictured in the advertisement is some sort of "model" or "actor."
The only reason why I rated this product one star instead of zero is because the craftsmanship of the bed, sheets, and all other parts that *were* included in the package is superb. If you're looking for a nice place to sleep whilst standing, or to make your friends *think* that you have a gorgeous blonde woman in your bed, this product is quite spectacular. However, if you seek the comfort of an actual woman, you'll find the sheets to be quite lonely.

If you are desperate this outfit could work, just don't turn your head because the headband thing which looks good from the front is only a 3/4 headband with a black elastic strap filling in the rest of way which really ruins the effect. The gown itself is very thin but usable, the sash that comes with it is again, super thin and cheap looking--usable if you are... desperate, but I would use something else in its place if possible.
