My husband ended up taking the sholder pads out because he couldn't even move his arms. And wearing the mask all night isn'tcomfortable. When you enlarge the picture you can really see that basically it is just a shiny over-shirt with a design on it. As long and you know this the product is worth it. It is longer than I had expected (it is meant to be worn tucked). We topped it off with the glasses and the penny loafers and all that good stuff and in the end it really was a hit. The picture and information on this product was misleading. This is not the Santa suit that was sent to me. The Santa suit was the cheapest thin, furry version. I paid extra because it was advertised as ultra velvet. I was so disappointed, but it was too close to Christmas to return it.Nice Looking, but could stand to be a liitle more durable
We have used this suit for 2 years, and are fairly pleased with it. We are quite pleased with its appearance, but it just isn't that durable.
After a few visits I noticed that the interior lining is coming in done and there are lots of rips and tears. This isn't too troublesome because the suit is 2 years old and the outside looks new still, but for some it may be problematic. The pants are also a bit short, which can be awkward, and the elastic wasn't quite tight enough for me, which was no big deal as I used suspenders, but is again something to consider. The boot covers are holding up well, and the hat is still really nice.
All in all this is a pretty nice little suit as long as you don't use it for a lot of santa parties, and if you do buy it make sure to order it in your correct size if you are able to. I made the mistake of ordering it a size too big for a little extra padding room and found out that that was a mistake as they already made that...Santa Gear

I could not return this piece of junk fast enough. First, the hood was torn at the seam in the back... front? back? It looked like the hood was sewn on backwards. Then, the sleeves were not even hemmed, the fabric was uneven lengths at the seam, and the seam thread was hanging past the end of the sleeve. The fabric was fairly translucent and feels like it would rip rather easily. Maybe that's why the hood was torn and the (total lack of) Quality Control team didn't notice. In short... STAY AWAY!! It's definitely not worth the $22.67 I paid for it.Good enough
I needed the costume as a long cloak for a cosplay. It is a tad big on me (but that's because it's a mens plus size cloak). I didn't buy it for aesthetics though, so it's good enough for me.Very poorly assembled.
This hooded robe was a big disappointment.
The negative:
-The hood was sewn on backwards
-There were several frayed seams
-It was pricey for the level of craftsmanship
The positive:
-Shipping was quick

I bought the Mario costume to wear at my daughters' field day at school. The kids loved it. My only complaint is that it was very tight fit especially from the shoulders down to the...uh...crotch. I'm 5'10" and 180 pounds so the Large costume I ordered should have fit more comfortably. Also, keep in mind that you'll need to purchase separate white gloves to complete the outfit. I went to Walgreen's and bought a pair of moisture jams for a few bucks. Overall, I'm glad I bought Mario--the costume just didn't provide the kind of manly comfort one would expect.Was too small for me.
I am not a very tall man ,only 5' 7" but this costume cut into my nether regions like it was trying to kill my future offspring. I ordered the medium because that's what I normally wear, but it ended up making me look ridiculous since my "man parts" were visibly displaced by the crotch region of the costume. I recommend ordering a size larger than what you would normally buy.Moose knuckles abound
Prior reviews about being short in the crotch were accurate. I bought the Luigi costume and my husband the Mario one. He is about 60lbs heavier than I am and got the largest size whereas I easily fit in a medium, I couldn't stop laughing when he put his costume on. It was completely inappropriate for view in public, but did make for a good laugh. I bought this for my boyfriend and luckily ordered the next size up. He is 6ft 2in, 265lbs, wears a XL-XXL shirt depending on brand, and wears a 38 in pants. I ordered an XXXL (3X) Costume and it fits really well, the waist of the pants does not sit on the hip, it rides higher over the belly, so it was nice to have the extra space and length for the lower region, otherwise it would look funny. but overall very satisfied with the purchase.Bavarian Guy

We didn't use the mask - it was way too cheesy. The shirt is easily altered, the material is cheap. The pants, like the shirt is easily altered but made of cheap material. It works especially if you are creative and use other props, face paint, body paint and other items to improve the appearance of the overall costume. Product runs small, I would suggest ordering a larger size as I did - glad I didn't order what was suggested based on the size charts. It is a man's pajama suit with printed pattern, it has 2 small velcro dots to hold the back together and like another review stated, you'd have to undress halfway to use the restroom all night...kind of inconvenient. I got a medium and am 5'7" 150lbs and it was way too loose and baggy. I guess I was expecting a bit more form fitting since the outfit is supposed to be tight, but not even close. I was accidentally sent the larger size by the seller but that didn't matter, it fit fine. I would always get a larger size when ordering (cheap) Halloween costumes. Most are made way too small, likely to save money.
The costume is a one-piece, stretchy jumpsuit with hallow, foam-like "bones" affixed to it. It looks pretty good and held up well. But honestly, who are we trying to fool? No one is REALLY going to believe you are a skeleton when you wear this. I mean, a real skeleton is hallow and not black. So, if you are expecting to fool people- look elsewhere.

The mask is made of the same, foam-like material as the bones. It is the weakest part of the costume since it was a bit deformed from being smashed flat in the package. I probably could have reformed it with heat or something else but didn't bother. For $18 bucks, you can't go wrong. Much less quality costumes are at Target or WalMart for much more.Don't buy if you're over 5' 6" tall
Pretty much what you see is what you get, which isn't bad for the price. The mask definitely looks different from what's pictured, but it's not a deal breaker.
However, these adult costumes are made for people who are SHORT! I'm 5'11 and I can't fit into this without getting a super-wedgie. It's clearly made for people about 5'6". Any taller and you'll be wearing skeleton "floods" and experiencing sever wedgieness. Unpleasant unless you're into that sort of thing (you know who you are).Runs on the small side!
My husband is average height (5'8") and average weight 170. We thought since it was one size fits all it would be big enough. Not even close!! They look adorable and are definitely unique. Wow! That was the general response when I wore this costume at a Halloween 2010 party. Everyone took pictures of me whether I knew them or not. I was super impressed. The quality of the costume was excellent and soooo precise to the original that Johnny Depp wore it was amazing. The price was also way below what I could have paid for this exact one at a local retailer. If you are a bit creative with makeup, a very close match to the character is not far off. I added a wire to the brim of the hat to keep it rounded as the packaging did tend to warp the foam hat a bit. The sizing is a bit small and I was glad to have orderd one size larger. My son loved this suit, it was not too tight in the crouch area because we bought one size larger than we thought would fit which didn't make it too big. Most guys certainly wouldn't want to wear it as tight as the actor in the movie! The material does not fall apart like the play spiderman suits at the store but instead it is material that is made to last just like typical clothing such as a thinner style hoodie. The zipper is in the back that goes from the back of the head down to the waist.Shipping was fast!
The suit fits well on me and I'm 5'8". The only things i didn't like is the mask. It hard to see well in so you probably want to edit the eyes to see better. My brother and I got this and the robin equivalent for the dark knight returns midnight premier and his robin was tight enough that he refused to wear it. I manned up (which everyone could clearly see thanks to the tightness of the costume) and wore it regardless.
But yeah, if you plan on buying this either prepare for the world to see your junk (if you can get into it without it ripping), or wear shorts.
Also, the belt is a chinsy felt thing and it oesnt come with the boots shown (I wore converses I had laying around). Also, the helmet and wristguards look way weaker in person.
Lastly, it was really irritating that the legs and crotch were super tight yet the upper body had a ridiculous amount of loose cloth. I can't imagine someone with that tiny a lower body yet that big an upper body.

I bought this costume because our team was doing a Batman Theme for an event we were attending... The costume came quickly and I have no complaints as far as working with the seller... But the costume itself is AWFUL! The person who was going to be wearing it is 5'11" and the costume was probably (at minimum) 6" too short... We even tried to cut the middle and added an extra 6" worth of black fabric to it... But it didn't help, it just shrunk back when he put it on again... I would say the costume would be good for someone under 5 feet tall. Otherwise, don't bother. We ended up (being short of time and not being able to replace it or return it) using "parts" of the costume and making our own. I would NOT recommend it.Not as pictured.

My son received lots of compliments on this costume, but it is not very quality. The strings that tie the back together ripped off during one wear in which he was not very "rough" on it. This kit comes with hat, bandana, and vest; you provide the shirt, jeans, belt, and boots. It's a little expensive, but the one piece costumes are even more so, and suffer greatly for quality.
My husband wore this for Halloween this year, and our 4 year old loved it. My husband is 5' 11" and 185 lbs. The hat was just a little small on my husband's head (he wears a 17 1/4 or 17 1/2, I think), and the vest JUST fit (42 chest).
It's definitely costume quality, but for the price of this kit and a discount shirt, I spent about what I would have spent on the one-piece, and got a much better result.RIP OFF

The costume is horrible. The material is untouchable and does not even look like the picture. The mask is so overwhelming you cannot even wear it. Spend your money on something else!GREAT COSTUME FOR A SHORT TIME
I have had a lot of fun with this costume. I note it says "one size", and if it's the same one I have, it's huge. I'm tall and wide and it fits great over one layer of clothing. It reminds me of the robot in The Day The Earth Stood Still.
PLUSES:
It is totally outrageous and a bit creepy. A hush will fall over the room when you enter.
This will test your spiritual friends claims that they have a sense of humor.
It's fairly durable, but you don't want to run a marathon in it
It covers your entire body including head, hands and feet - this is a full tilt costume
It's fairly easy to put on, but make sure the person who ties the strings in the back makes bows instead of knots, or it's difficult to take off
It's light weight
It will come in handy if the heat goes out in the dead of winter
MINUSES:

This shirt (XL) was sized right and looked good. Flimsy and a little sheer, but it held up just fine. I had to pin the collar because the white bar was narrow and left a gap underneath, but it was a simple fix. I walked a few blocks to a "bad wedding" party past the Sex World store in Minneapolis and caught a few uncomfortable stares. Maybe I should have walked in...Will do the trick.
The shirt is okay. It is mostly velcro for all the connecting parts. For the money, it is worth getting if you are willing to do some touch ups yourself to make it fit properly. Aside from that, the seller was terrific.Worked great for the play I was doing.
