I bought this item with the intention of wearing it as a costume piece and for that purpose it works just fine after a few adjustments. At first I was really disappointed in the look and feel but after some loving I got it to work out alright. A few things of note however is that the color in the picture provided are a bit off as well as the sizing. The overall color is a bit darker, more of a dark brown. It also has a very stiff feeling to it which may or may not have been intentional.
I am not sure if this item is available in other sizes and I just so happened to receive a small one or what, but it looks and feels at least 2-3 sizes smaller than depicted in the picture. I have a similar build to the guy in the picture and I couldn't get it to fit me out of the package, I had to cut some of the leather off just to get my arm through. Also, the picture is a bit deceiving because it shows the item touching the neck line but the product I received only reaches about half way...
