First off, the costume is well put together and looks very authentic. Pair with a sonic screwdriver, black canvas pants, black boots and a fez and you will absolutely look the part. However, the sizing is pretty misleading.
I bought the standard size, figuring that with the product also coming in X-Large and Plus Size (2X) that the standard would be a medium. I was not expecting a perfect fit by any means, but this is big. It should really be labeled Large. Amazon do not provide the measurements, though the Halloween Costumes website does:

Basically, if you are 6'2" and broad shouldered (as my friend is), the standard jacket will fit you perfectly. Quite how that is standard is anyone's...Deceptive size titles
When I saw that there were two size options - Standard and X-Large - I figured that Standard should fit well (assuming Standard is Medium).
However when I tried the costume on, the so called Standard turned out to be your regular X-Large.
I usually wear medium sized shirts and this felt like a dress, it was so big.
Despite this size debacle, it looks just like you'd expect. The fabric isn't great but it's good enough for the couple of occasion on which it will be worn.Came right on time
The extra large fits my son who is in a large shirt the jacket is just a tinny bit big but nothing that he noticed. You need to hang it up because it comes folded and has a lot of wrinkles. But is well worth the money. Note it does not come with the screwdriver. I have seen this same costume on other web sites costing much more than this one.> Click to See Editorial Reviews

Worked well for son's Renaissance Faire costume, tho this large ran bigger than most I find in stores. Since there were buttons at the wrists it was ok.GREAT costume item for the price
Fabric is nice quality, style as shown, and I had to wash it and dye it in hot water for the color we wanted, it didn't shrink a bit, I was really surprised, very nice shirt for the money. The renassiance clothing places sell something like this for $50-75 and it's the same shirt. Maybe I'm just a fat, but this thing was tight in a few places. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's the most authentic leprechaun outfit you'll get under $100. The buttons fall off very easily, but it looks better without them anyways. I was hired to do a gig as a leprechaun this last St. Paddy's and I used this outfit. People loved it. Seems to be fairly well made for something off the costume rack. Way better than a lot of the papery stuff you might see. Real fabric, though thin, but that's OK, too.Great costume
I just got this costume in the mail and I'm very happy. The material is you standard cheap costume material, but that is what you should expect with any costume.
The hat is made of a soft Styrofoam and is compressed down to fit into the standard flat 12" x 15" plastic display bag like you'd see at any costume store. I mention that because I bought this for a cruise for St Patty's day and was wondering how I was going to get the hat into my suitcase. The "belt" on the hat is thin, scarf like material with a plastic buckle. If you look closely at the picture, you can see that it has a little shimmer to it.
The vest is made of a velvet like material on the front and the standard thin, green material on the back. The vest is 23" long and 22.5" wide. The buttons are plastic, but look bronze. The pockets are non-functional. The vest does open in the front like a standard vest, it is not a pull over like some costumes.

I've been researching/shopping Wizard of Oz costumes to use next halloween. This one is a runs big but considering I've sent back 3 Dorathy costumes for being way too small, it's a good thing. My husband is 5'6 about 170 and the large was a bit big but do-able. The fabric is good quality (for a costume) and doesnt look cheap. I would recommend to others and buy again. Ren pants that have pockets and look legit; for 20 bucks, good deal. I got XL, I'm a 6'4" athletically built guy. I'm by no means small but I'm also not overweight at all; just a large frame. Even so, I could probably get 2 of me in these pants the waist is so big. The draw string draws them comfortably tight though. Legs could be 2-3 inches longer, but they look fine when I'm standing up. Other than that I'd say they're great. Thin, freely flowing fabric. VERY comfortable. Honestly I might buy more just to wear as my every day clothes they're so comfortable... you know, if they were 3 inches longer. With that said if you're going to be wearing them in cooler weather (jacket required) I'd wear long johns under these or something so you don't get cold. Should be great for the summer Ren fair though.Lightweight and cheap
These are VERY lightweight pants. I ordered a large because I was a little worried about the waist, and they are probably closer to a XXL. Not only that, but they are a little short as well, so it's not like I can try and shrink them to fit.
All in all, not very happy with this product and would not recommend for this price.Good costume pants for the price
Bought these Renaissance pants for my husband to wear to a Renaissance Faire and a costume party. The pants fit him well (he's a large man and had plenty of room in them) and made his outfit look good. Downside is that the material is thin....my husband had to wear bicycle short underneath the pants so there wouldn't be any see-through. This classic Wonka costume does the job... barely. It is cheap and cheesy - but effective.
It all came smelling like mothballs or cat pee - but that washed out just fine (hand washing worked).
It is quite warm as the polyester fabric does not breathe.good costume
The coat is roomy and the shirt/vest work just fine. The pants are kind of like sweat pants, but you could wear your own khakies no problem. The hat is okay, but you could find a nicer one.
