Where do the two good reviews come from? I got it shipped to Germany (planned for my friend to wear at a high class vampire and fetish party) and therefore unfortunately cannot return it. The fabric is horrible! It's extremely itchy and completely crumpled up. You cannot iron it. Washing it did not help. The red fabric is a little shiny and maybe a little better (not that extremely cheap looking) than the black one, but since it is as crumpled up and not ironable too, that does not help neither.
The picture makes you expect any kind of heavier fabric, but that's not the case. Therefore, even the hoody does not look as on the picture, not to talk about the itching in his face when he tried it on. The whole outfit is more embarrassing than as expected kind of dark and sexy.
The little "daggers" on the belt as well as the two other decoration parts are from cheapest plastic. The backside of the grey "daggers" is unpainted white and whenever you move that is more...
Ok for the money... Itchy
Well, for the money I can not expect silk but my first impression out of the box was that this is going to be hot and itchy. I tried it on for a few minutes and yep, very itchy material. But it looks ok. Probably will have to wear a long sleeved shirt underneath instead of a t-shirt as I had planned. So it's gonna be pretty warm.
Decorations are plastic, but again, ok for a few wears.
Instructions say machine wash, tumble dry low. I really doubt this will hold up to many washings. Probably a one time costume.
So, bottom line, for the money, it rates an OK.
Not worth the material it was made with.
I was so excited for this costume when I first saw it. However, as soon as I took it out of the bag, it went downhill. Pieces went missing quickly and the chains broke just as fast.
