Actually this really isn't a costume...it is a real suit, tie, vest, etc, with a makeup kit. The clothes will last forever, unlike the cheap "throwaway" costumes in the stores. As soon as I received it I was blown away by the quality.
Buy this costume and simply have the best of any party you go to this year, and probably for years to come.
good in some respects, bad in others
Overall, the costume is extremely great, especially when compared to others on the market. Almost everything fit well and a big plus is that the coat is lined (many other versions of the jacket are not). The bad points were that I had to buy some suspenders to hold the pants up because they have an elastic waist, everything fit according to the sizing chart except the vest which was too short and too small in the chest, and the costume had loose threads hanging out all over the place on almost all the pieces (shirt, vest, pants and jacket). Also, the scar latex pieces looked really fake. I ended up going with making my own disposable ones from Ben Nye scar and tissue wax which looked much better. Required some alteration and modification, but it was worth it. Overall, a great costume for the price. It was a big hit at the Halloween parties I attended. :-)
Better than expected, but not perfect
This Joker costume is nearly perfect, but not quite there. I'm 5'11" and 200 lbs and ended up ordering the large. When I opened the package it was nice to see this came with a zipper bag around the costume on a hanger, so storage wouldn't be an issue. Upon opening the costume I got to examine each piece of the costume and was pleasantly surprised for the most part.
- The jacket is heavier than I thought it would be, but not as heavy as a real trench coat would feel. It's got a nice red silky lining on the inside that makes it feel less like a costume and more like real clothing.
- The green vest was a great fit for me, although the holes for the buttons were a little small, so I had to slice the holes open another 1/8 inch. The material felt pretty durable.
- The shirt is a grey shirt with a hex pattern on it. If it was just a little more dense and less scratchy you could almost wear it as a piece of every day clothing.
