The Good:
The shirt is great. The colours are authentic and people will instantly remember where they've seen those stripes before. The material is stretchy and fits well and comfortably over a white t-shirt (which I recommend wearing underneath for comfort). Arm length is good, as is the shirt length (untucked) for me being 5'11".
The headpiece is an authentic view of Bert, with the classic eyebrow and hair. The eye holes are easy to see out of, with the caveat below.
The Not So Good:
Be aware that the promotional image used is misleading - there are no green pants with this costume. This is just a warning in case you look at the image and don't realise that it's not actually part of the costume.
The headpiece is difficult to manage and shape. The costume ships flat, which means that the headpiece is flattened and needs to be shaped before using. The hair does not stay up well and flops down in the front, as does the entire...
Bert costume
Bought this along with the Ernie costume for my husband and I for halloween, to celebrate with our 2 year old daughter. They only had XL size left, which I purchased, and it seemed to fit fine (my husband is 6'1 and I am 5'3.) Although the heads were quite big, and kept falling forward, doesn't stay in one place. Have to kind of re-position the head while wearing it, which was a bit annoying, but maybe that's b/c I bought the XL size. But in the end we received many smiles and laughs wearing them, which is all we wanted.
