I was given this exact product six years ago and have worn it in my Euro history class and at the local Renaissance Faire each year, it is a big hit. I will say that the mask is difficult to adjust to head size; the straps are too long, so I put a roll of toilet paper on my neck and that allows the mask to fit and not slip down- if it doesnt fit very well, the mask will droop, it is heavy. The robe is quite cheap and must be pinned in the back, which is a real pain if you have no assistance. This year I bought a heavy wool cloak at the Faire and will use that from now on; the little hat this comes with doesn't stay on well, now I wont use it anymore. Also, this does not come with gloves or a cane; over the years I have purchased both to complete the set. The mask is great, and I don't mind it being costly because for one thing I have never seen a "competing" plague doctor at the Faire, which is one of the largest in the country.
