I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, for the price. Good fabric, and EXCELLENT service. I ordered a Phantom of the Opera mask from this seller in addition to this cape, and both were shipped the next day. They arrived in three days, max! Only thing I wasn't aware of were the arm holes in the cape itself. They're a little unsightly, but nothing major. Probably be a good idea to note that in the info, though!nice piece of work
i love this cloak, it does not feel like something from a costume store this is a cloak you can wear all the time, the only thing i have a problem with is the strings that tie the neck area together, are made of cheap-o thin cloth, i feel like it might break if little stress is pushed on it. im looking for some way to replace them with something strongerNot great, not terrible...
The delivery was great--it arrived very quickly and without any pains. The material isn't that bad, to be honest. It has a nice feel to it. The strings are alright, but I'm not sure they'll last through much wear and tear. Same for the fabric. I'd say this is good for show--probably not your best choice if you plan on running around (a.k.a.: don't buy for LARPing). I wasn't impressed at the lack of mention on the armholes. The length of the cloak is good for not tripping over. The hood... is 'eh', at best. The way the fabric was sewn gives the top a dome look, similar to the picture. Adult's AC/DC Angus Young Halloween Costume -

This is not the first costume I purchased in my life. I understand most store bought costumes are a fasade. That being said, I didn't expect this costume to be a perfect example of what Angus young wears in concert.
So the costume shows up and its in a bag that is much too small for the costume. I mean, they must have had elves stuff it in because it was that tight. Because of this the thin material that it was made of was extremely wrinkled. Due to the type of material it was made from it made it impossible for me to iron. On top of this, the shirt is sewn into the jacket on the inside and is reverse buttons. I'm a man, its a mens costume and the button holes on mens clothes are on the left side of the shirt unless you are on mars.
Because of the fact the shirt is sewn into the jacket, you can't put the tie under the shirt coller. Its just impossible. I probably could have cut the costume to make the tie work, but why should I have to alter the costume to make it work...ac/dc angus young costume
The costume is a one size fits all. My boyfriend however is not. I had to make several adjustments to the outfit before he could wear it. Once done, it was great! Maybe it should be made in small, medium and large. Angus is "small" afterall ;)Comes in handy!
My husband is in an AC/DC tribute band and they needed a school boy outfit for the lead guitarist. This was perfect. The only flaw is we'll need to do something to the hat- it's just too plain. But the jacket/shirt is ONE PEICE so we took out the stitching and removed the white shirt, and now he wears a real button up shirt. The tie ZIPS on, shorts are perfect. I thought this was a very fun and clever idea for a costume. The costume overall had great quality and held up well after wearing it a few times. I was a bit disappointed with the head support. Their if a very flimsy "hat" inside the costume that holds the costume 6-9 inches above your head. I had trouble getting this to stay up so I ended up using some extra materials and a little craftsmanship to make the costume more suitable to wear out for the night. I was a little surprised at the number of people who weren't familiar with the real life inflatable, counterpart or weren't able to draw the connection. Perhaps I just wasn't wiggling enough. You can buy the cheap $30/$40 "costume-in-a-bag" and get something equally cheap in appearance and durability. You can also pay a bit more and get something that looks sharp and has solid quality - that is what we have here. First, some size info. The label indicates the following men's sizes: S 38-40, M 42-44, L 46-48, XL 50. For reference, I normally wear a 44 R suit coat and the L size coat/costume fits me perfectly. The coat and vest are robust and a bit heavy but in a good way. The knickers also are of decent construction. The hat is a cloth-wire based fold-out type of hat; though looks decent enough compared to the real thing. The boot toppers are just that - boot toppers and would prefer to swap them out for real boots. However, at this price point, I won't complain. This whole costume comes nicely packaged on a hanger in a garment bag. You don't get a wrinkled mess and it stores conveniently. In all, a great costume.Much better than expected!!
I selected this product based on the existing reviews; it's not often that a product surpasses my expectations, but this one certainly did! Overall it is very well made, excellent detail and authentic colors. I am 6ft 2in and the large size fits perfectly. My only suggestion would be to include the wig that is pictured, I would have been happy to pay an additional $20 for it.Very nice quality items, but a on the pricey side
All the items in this set come in a full sized costume hanger and are well protected in shipment. The costume itself is exactly as described and the outfit doesn't look cheap or raggedy at all in real life. This should be be expected, as it isn't cheap. The jacket is particularly impressive given it's sweeping full length, however it is very heavy and hot. The packaging states this fits up to 6 foot and 200 pounds, my husband is 5'10 and 185 lbs which made for a bit of a tight fit. We cut some strategic slits to make it fit better, I really can't imagine anyone taller or heavier fitting very well into this. Let me say that it's not so easy to find costumes for me. I'm 6-1, 270, 38waist, barrel chest, thick, bodybuilder type physique. This one fits and looks good. I wore it with my own jeans (yay!) and flip flops. One star off for the sleeves being an odd length - too short, but not a 3/4 sleeve, which would have been OK.
I would recommend this costume. I wore it for a 70's theme party.Hit of the party . . .
