The black portion of the collar is not properly sewed into the V-neck - keeping the collar from lying flat on the skin as should be. If I could rate it a half star I would!Great Shirt!
The shirt is a great representation of Captain Kirk's shirt from the most recent Star Trek movie. I am a fan of the original series but I think that this shirt is a lot more stylish. The shirt has a pattern that repeats the star fleet logo continuously. The shirt is made of polyester which makes it a lot thinner and shinier than the original.
I greatly enjoyed the shirt. The only problem I believe there is, is that the sleeves seem to be larger than intended for the size. I wear large shirts and so I ordered a large. The shirt fit nicely but the sleeves were very loose. I don't know if this is also the same for the other sizes or not, but it is just nitpicking. Item arrived on time.
Inflatable thing broke when I tried to inflate it. The head garb shown in picture wasn't included, but it was cheap and I didn't want to deal with the complaint/return process since the party was that night so I made do.
Crappy costume all-around, but it worked in a pinch and was cheap. Thank goodness for Amazon primeALL WRONG!
I'm glad that I ordered this costume with enough time to make alternate plans!
- The "One Size" is for guys 200-pounds or less (I'm 210 and while the material stretches - it looks stupid).
- My favorite part, the V-shaped bib, doesn't exist. The costume has a standard white collar that extends ONLY IN THE FRONT, from shoulder to shoulder (so it literally stops abruptly at the top of the shoulder and is CLEARLY visible.
- The top/back is split open and is supposed to tie with white strings but the part where the material splits isn't sewn so it tears incredibly easy.
- The material is ULTRA ULTRA thin.
- The inflatable belly won't extend beyond a size 36 waist.
- The white gloves are ridiculously small (wouldn't fit a girl's hand, much less a man's hand).
Sorry to be the barer of bad news, as I know that this looks like a cool costume! I wound up going with the "Adult Holy Sister Nun Costume Plus Size" (meant for a woman size 16) from Party...> Click to See Editorial Reviews

when i opened the package and layed eyes on this costume my mouth dropped. This costume is definetly worth the price. It is VERY authentic, its not real leather but looks very close to the original movie. I feel like i borrowed the actual costume from the movie that johnny depp wore.thats how real it is.its completely adjustable.you might need a hot glue gun though because my sissorhand gloves came broken off already but no problem i just glued them back. the only bad thing is that you get HOT and sweaty quick in this costume.if your worried about size then heres this, Im 5'6" and only 117lbs so im pretty skinny and short and this costume was a little big but with the adjustable straps it fits great! i recomend this 100% all the way. my next costume for the next few years.Very well made
I got this costume and was shipped to me right away...its very well made and worth its price.
Some of the minor flows I saw in it were:
1-some of the scissors might come off the its glove..but its easily fixed with a glue gun or double face tape.
2-the whole costume is made of polyester, so prepare to be cooked inside it, wearing cotton under it might help a little.
3-the costume comes with its own makeup kit, not a fancy one.. but it did the job, however the scars provided in the kit are not enough...I had to cut it to pieces to get the (main) scars on Edward's face
Other than those, the costume was amazing and everyone was impressed with it...i took best costume award in it and like I said before totally worth it.

My fiance wore this costume for halloween. Unfortunately we were sent one with a couple paint stains but the seller offered either a discount or we could return the costume. It was too close to halloween so we just took the discount. The scissor hands are kind of odd. They are hot glued on to thin black gloves and if your fingers aren't big enough they will fall off the gloves. Because it's a more expensive costume I would have liked for them to have been a little more durable, it was like the manufacturer got kind of lazy with the hands. We were shopping for a new cow mascot and stumbled on this one. It's a GREAT deal for the price. $93.17 out the door. It's head is soft so you need a baseball hat (regular or plastic) underneath to hold it off your face. Makes it easier to see out of the eyes.Not the best, but got the job done.
Not the best quality mascot suit, but what do you really expect for the cost??? It got the job done (One daughter loved it, the other scared out of her wits) and is still in good shape to use a few more times for whatever reason.
Suit is HOT, material easily comes off and sticks to you and any clothing worn underneath.
