The title says it all. Wish this was cheaper in price to match the quality, but since we couldn't find better/reasonably priced versions this one had to do (we modified it).ok
The uniform was a little cheesy but ok. I wanted an XL but I received a Medium. I had it taken apart and augmented, and customized. It is now a great uniform. It is from such meager beginning, that art and creativity are born. But I did needed the front panel to do such a good job creating a great Klingon uniform. It will be on display at the Grand Slam event in Burbank on Feb. 15-17Qapla!
Like other reviews have stated the headpiece leaves much to be desired.
The hair is nothing like the picture (very thin and shorter, and the scalp does have bits of green on it like it its growing mold. I had to cut off that stupid pointed nose piece.
The suit seemed fine to me. (wish it had come with a Klingon dagger
Gave it three stars but I would rate it a 7/10.

When I first ordered this I didn't expect much for the price. However, I was quite surprised when I received the costume. Shipment was quick and the costume was a hit. Note that it's not the best quality material but it will get you through a couple of Halloween parties without fail. I did manage to rib the back of it but some tape on the inside seam managed to fix that right up. For the price you really can't go wrong.Extremely poor construction
This costume is very limited and not worth the price. It comes with the pants, jacket, and a hat. No gloves, no wig, no goatee, no shirt, and no shoes or shoe covers.
Pants: The satin-sheen fabric is nice-looking and colorful, but it's so thin you can actually see through it. You would need to wear white pants under the costume pants.
Jacket: It's not really a jacket, but rather an extremely thin shirt. The lapels are totally limp and fall down so they must be pinned or sewn to points near the shoulders. My shirt came with a defective button that is obviously chipped. The buttons are glued on-- not sewn.
Hat: Very colorful and made of felt, it is about as limp as the lapels on the jacket. It would need to stuffed from the inside or starched to keep it upright as in the photo. The white felt stars on the hat are sewn on in a manner that really highlights the poor quality of this costume overall: The stitching looks like it was done by a blind Chinese...perfect for the price
didnt expect much quality. I was right. its thin and very tearable so dont go too crazy in it. For what i paid it was prefect though. the hat is actually the best quality item. I bought this for my 10 year old son for a presentation he had to give as Caesar. He is short, so we were able to cut the bottom off the costume so it fit him. The costume worked well for him. The only complaint I had was that the description mentioned a purple trim, which my son was excited about because I guess Caesar could wear purple or gold togas. This costume worked very well - it was delivered quickly and it was as advertised. It isn't the most regal or elaborate of steampunk, but 1) it is a costume, not an outfit, and 2) for the price it is very reasonable. I recommend if you have to look steampunk-ish on a budget.Buyer beware, folks.
This costume is pretty lame.
First it's not one size fits all.
Anyone over a size med would not be able to use the "vest" which not really a vest but sort of like a muscle shirt with some buttons sewn on it.
The jacket is more like a shirt. with some buttons and a lapel sewn on.SUPER CUTE

Simply put what is descriped is what you get. A pleather COSTUME overcoat. I am 5 foot 10 and it fits me nicely. It appears to be well made and had no strange odors. I only have 2 issues.
1. The way it was put in the bag caused some creases that will be a pain to undue. Not impossible but tough.

I bought this costume as a base for another costume. I was most concerned with the sleeve length and the collar.
First of all, the white section of the collar is much smaller then the picture implies. Out of the box, the collar is probably around 1.5 inches and has a gap between the bottom of the white collar and the black collar of about .5-.75 inches. It's very noticeable as it doesn't rest flush against the shirt at all. I ended up going to a craft supply, buying some white fabric and making it bigger.
It's also very thin material, you -will- need to wear something on underneath. That being said, the Velcro used to hold the front closed isn't very 'sticky' and I ended up sewing more Velcro pieces to prevent it from tearing open.
The shirt is also VERY long. Since the supplier carriers a very small selection of sizes, I had to go with a shirt 2x my size, even so the shirt shouldn't have reached past my knees! mid-thigh I could see, but I could of...> Click to See Editorial Reviews

We had some problems keeping the fork upright, but we figured out that we needed to pull it down like a hat. We got silver metallic face paint and wore all black clothing and were very comfortable.
