This was THE perfect costume for my husband for Halloween! Very cute and comfortable. The only problem was that it was shipped in a small box and the brim of the hat is pretty big. It was creased, but after a few minutes of heat with the blow dryer and a little shaping it was good to go!So Cheesy and Cheap
This is pretty horrible as far as quality goes. The hat is so flimsy it came all bent up and wont flatten out. The "star" that is supposedly included is just a picture of a star on the vest. The vest doesn't look near as dark as their picture shows, its a super light weight material with faded black on it. There is no pattern on the back of the vest. Ok, so I got this in plenty of time for halloween this year. I'm a soldier in Iraq, and when the people in my company got a sight of me in skin tight spandex.. well.. hilarity ensued.. I would definately recommend a jock strap and cup, because I had to place my junk in a sock so that there would be no genital definition.. wife made me :) I'm about 6'2, and the costume was way too short for me.. but it'd be good for the average guy of 5'9, or 5'10.. but for the laughs I got, it was totally worth the $30.. seeing as I won $50 in our costume contest.. there was a little danving involved, had to shake my stuff.. and until you see a tall, skinny white guy shakin his groove thing in a skin tight spiderman costume.. well.. you just haven't lived..gloves
Year after year they never, EVER have an adult Spider-Man costume that includes gloves and boots. Is it really that difficult to include those as well? I mean, come on!the spiderman costume was on time and it the fit was good.

I ordered this for a halloween costume for my son. THIS ROBE RUNS VERY SMALL! If you wear under a large it would work fine.... over a large it will not close... the quality is what you would expect (novelty costume quality). I think it is priced a bit high for the quality...but, of you want to use it as a costume this will work fine. I would not recommend to use it for everyday wear.love it

Good product for the money. The sleeves are a bit short (I have long arms) but I was swimming in the rest of it, which was good because I bought it with ridiculous intentions. Better quality than I was expecting. The only thing to be warned about it it created an enormous amount of static cling. I bought this Julius Caesar costume to take on a cruise. It was the last week of October, so there was a Halloween party onboard. I liked this costume because it didn't take up much room in luggage and I could use the sandals I was bringing anyway. Quality of material & workmanship is quite nice for the price, although the laurel crown is very cheesy. It's not the "U-shaped" one shown in the illustration, but a headband that goes all the way around, consisting of giant gold mylar "leaves" all connected on the inside to an elastic band. I plan to replace this before using the costume again. I might have to make my own using one of my wife's hairbands to hold some more realistic-looking laurel leaves. Also, a few sequins fell off, but otherwise everything held together very well.
This costume requires frequent attention while wearing it because the red part that drapes over the white tunic tends to slip off the shoulder and you have to be careful not to drop the part...Huge and cheaply made
This arrived and would have fit someone with a 60 inch waist - not good for some with a 34 inch waistMakes for an easy halloween
If you order this don't expect it to be of the greatest quality but know that it'll do for a night. I found that the robe was a bit to big for me but whenI wrapped the belt around it held well. I recommend a safety pin to keep the belt in place and another one or two to keep the robe in the right place if need be.

From the description of this costume, I thought it would actually be a pair of coveralls with a fake plastic knife. What I received was a polyester kid-type costume that ties in the back with a foam knife - not plastic as stated in the description. I was not happy with this purchase at all.Perfect!!

Purchased this for the myself for a Hansel & Gretel costume theme for Halloween and Purim. I am considering it for Oktoberfest as well but it is definitely a budget costume. The fabric is very plastic-y and the straps are not adjustable. I am 6'5" so it was bordering uncomfortable given the amount of room between the crotch and shoulders. But for the price and a few hours at a party it is decent. The hat that comes with is very small and looks wrinkled when pulled out of the packaging. I used a bowler had I have from Goorin instead. Compared to local options this was a pretty good deal.liked it

It is a really good quality costume. The jacket is heavy and well cut with sturdy toggles. The pants with braces are also of very good quality. The helmet however is like a plastic kids toy but considering that a real fireman helmet is not available to the public and cost a fortune this is definitely adequate. Do not waste your money on this lump of crooked metal. The positive reviews fooled me. I would return this if I didn't have to pay for shipping both ways (almost $30) and the 15% restocking fee which they will no doubt try to charge me even though this thing is defective.

Face plate is riveted on crooked making the crest look like it was welded crooked, you can actually see where the assembler (aka small child working for $1 a day) had to drill a few holes to get it right which it still isn't. This can be fixed simple enough but for $70 with the cost of shipping I should not have to do anything to the helmet.
The face plate itself is also crooked. The nose is about 5 to 10 degrees off from the eyes. Maybe cool if you want to look like you got your head run over by a chariot-not the look I was going for.
It is large enough to fit my large head however it is way too wide. This would work well on a...It works!
I used this in a Halloween costume and it worked great, its a little bit big but it will fit most adult size heads.
Be aware that it comes with no internal padding so you will need to wear a hat of some sort to keep the metal from bruising up your head. Also the smell of metal really gets to you if you wear the helmet for to long so I let it air out for a while before using it.
It comes wrapped in a bag that is coated with oil so be careful when unwrapping it! I got a bunch of oil over my clothes without even realizing it but the oil is easy to clean up.
Overall it is a solid helmet and it helped me win a costume contest so it was worth it! :)JCC6
