Solid metal and looks like it means business. Don't plan on wearing this bad boy as the bolts holding the horns will bed down nicely into your skull. It's not the easiest to move around since it is oiled and the flaps need to be positioned properly to stand it up. This is not a toy and it does get attention if that's what you are after. Would buy again.Amazing

The costume is pretty good for the price. The fabric is slightly see-through which is to be expected for costumes of this level. Pants have an elastic waistband which is hidden by the "jacket". Give the costume a quick ironing to eliminate the fold lines and create the proper formal pant creases and it will look great. The poor quality of the hat is difficult to determine from the product image, but you'll almost certainly want to replace it. The costume is great. Make sure the temperature is at least 70 degrees outside. Here is south florida, we had a cold front this year due to Sandy up north. The temp dropped down to 65 degrees, I wore a t-shirt under this and was very comfortable.

My friend and I (who dressed up as Junior from Swamp People) won 3rd place at a large costume contest with this crocodile outfit. We made a "treble hook" from wall hooks and rope bundled together that I wore in the "mouth" area of the headpiece.
The costume shed a ton of threads when I initially received it but after a good shaking it was fine. The shoe coverings have velcro straps that go underneath your shoe soles which I find to be a bit annoying and was concerned it may trip me (but thankfully it did not!) This costume also zips up in the back like a lady's dress, some might find that to be a nuisance (especially if you need to take a lot of restroom breaks). The headpiece was a little snug for me and the "croc suit" was a little baggy (would better fit someone around 5'7-5'9). The headpiece could be altered to fit a larger person but the costume material is thin and rather stretchy in comparison to the headpiece material and may tear if altered.

We used this costume for the crocodile in our recent production of Peter Pan. It worked out GREAT!! Wasn't too bulky to move around in.Captain Hook shook.
Bought this for Peter Pan because I didn't have to.e to make one. Not great but did the job.

I was hesitant to buy this because my husband is not an XL but rather a medium or a large yet all that was offered was the XL. Hes 6 ft and this was short on him but surprisingly fit him well everywhere else. The wig was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!! However I brushed it and the fact it looked crazy made him even more funny for the neighborhood kids and their parents. All and all this was a fun costume.Fun costume!
I'm a 48" chest and ordered the XL, which goes to 46". I liked the costume enough to install a 16" zipper up the back and it worked well. Otherwise, the three little velcro tabs to hold the back together will not work on an athletic build like my own. The costume was well recognized at the party and was fun humor the entire evening. The wig needs to be wet down and a hair dryer to comb it out. Its worth doing. the wig is pretty hilarious on its own for a guy. Since it was an adult costume party, I didn't invest in the sword. Need the extra hands for drinks!I have the Power!!

Do NOT waste your money on this costume. When I ordered it, it said the pants were included, which they were not, and I was sent the wrong size. I see it has also gone up in price an extra $20 within a couple of weeks. That's ridiculous.
The quality is CHEAP, more so than most Halloween costumes. It's flimsy and feels like a dryer sheet. The hat is not a real hat--it's just a wrinkled piece of cloth that is vaguely in the shape of a hat. Also, the mask isn't a real mask; it's a just a thin cloth with a skull on it that doesn't even cover your entire face and has loose threads sticking out.
I would suggest not ordering a costume online at all now. This was for my husband, and we have a party we are going to this weekend, so now we are going to have to get a refund for this and try to find a better costume. The costume looks really nice as a whole.. the molded plastic is made kind of cheaply, so the two piece mask doesn't line up very well with the other half, but this can be fixed by cutting the plastic in select points to create a better seal. I bought this costume for Halloween two years ago and I still think it's the coolest. MC Hammer was a huge rap star of the late '80s and early '90s (my era) and donning this awesome costume was the perfect addition to my annual Halloween party for work.Pretty good for the money
The quality was pretty decent, no complaints. I wish the shoulder pads would have been more exaggerated, but the product was basically as the photo shows, less the undershirt (of course). The size was ok, I think it was "one size fits all"... my husband is only around 5'8" and 180 pounds, but the way this thing is made, it would have fit a man much taller and bigger too. I'd guess someone between 5'7" and 6' could wear this with very little concern.Happy Halloween
