The costume itself is near perfect. Everyone LOVES it. If you are over 5'9" the Extra Large will NOT fit you. The details are spot on, colors, quality, its all here. Wish there were some light blue or purple boots to buy. I used light blue medical gloves for my hands. Easy way to top this costume off. My velcro had no problems. The mask IS GOING TO HURT your face. It looks perfect, but its awful to wear more than even one minute. They should change it to a ski mask type and just charge 5 more dollars. Go buy another skeleton mask, don't think about it just do it.Perfect!
I used this to make a Lightning Rod costume (from Skylanders). So I needed the muscleman shirt and I was able to cut off the purple parts and it worked perfectly. It was a bit snug for 6'1" but better that than too loose.Was impressed with quality and the quickness of shipment.Good easy costume, just too short
I'm 6'2 and this costume wasn't long enough on my legs (34 inseam), so it was a little high-water about it. There isn't anything to cover your shoes too, so finding purple shoes might be difficult for a night. I didn't use the mask, painted my face (I don't see how women wear makeup everyday!) since the mask would get annoying after 15 minutes of use (you can see through the mesh eyes, but it just became cumbersome and in the way). Overall, I liked this costume and got a bunch of compliments. When you have to use the restroom, you basically have to disrobe since this is one just one piece that attaches in the back (I couldn't close it all the way, guess my shoulders are too broad).> Click to See Editorial Reviews

I ordered this product for the Super Hero theme night at my job and when it came, I was excited. Upon opening the costume, I found the mask was crushed and the vel-cro that holds the front & back of the mask together was already falling off. The sides of the mask were bent and not able to be used.
For a costume that was this price, higher quality plastic would definitely be the way to go. Disappointed in the quality, I returned it for a full refund.Great product!

Husband says it puts him back on the 7 seas when pirates ruled supreme and the world feared them. He loves it. Great fit and doesn't look "fake". Pretty well made and will probably be enjoyed for many Halloweens to come.it fit. but thats about all.
It fit buts thats about all. It hard to find costumes for us big guys and this costume fit but thats it. the pants are made for some who is round not tall, the pants attach to the boot toppers, the boot toppers have a strap to go under your boot. To make this fit the pants would not cover half my back side. When I pulled them up I broke the boot strap, so the boot topper ended up around my knees. so the boot toppers were scraped and I ended up not as a pirate but as a shipwrecked sailor. ragged clothes shoesless.Yarrr...
Avast, ye scurvy landlubbers! If it's a pirate yer wishin' to be fer All Hallow's Eve, ye could do worse than this outfit. My only complaint be the belt, there be no way to fasten the cursed thing! After looking through all the "Mad Scientist" costumes for a complete costume I came across this one...Charades Men's Mad Scientist Costume Set. After seeing the photo and brief description it looked like the wig was included along with the lab coat but, I was wrong. I received the product which includes gloves, belt and lab coat, and the wig and goggles are not included. Unless you are in very good shape, I would suggest trying to get the Jedi robes that some folks cell and wear it over this thing. While I wouldn't call myself FAT (though the tubby tag DOES fit) I am not in shape either. Wearing just the monk robe make me look like a mishaped sausage.

This was a real good costume for the price it had everything expect the gloves, hair and goatee. I wore my white shirt & black shoes and bought the other accessories to complete my outfit. It's worth for a night if you extended to wear beyond a day then you better stitch the buttons since they are glued instead of sewed. But a grt costume to get everyone notice and people think I spent more so it definitely a good buy and my theme was "I WANT YOU 1%" - Uncle Sam ...Cheap made but useable
Jacket is very flimsey - will not standup like the pictures indicate. Pants are similiar to a cheap polyester pajama pant, the jacket is thin polyester - will need to use cardboard or similiar substance to make red striped collar standup otherwise it just hangs.
