This costume is simultaneously lovely and hilarious. It is easy to hang on a hanger. Please note - if you want the top of the banana (the part resting on top of your head) to stand upright, you have to stuff it with your own newspaper. However, this is not a big deal at all. Easy to wear, comfortable. I am 6'2", 200 pounds and it fit just fine. Easy to wear while driving. Easy to hang on hanger in closet.Great Costume!
This is a great, simple costume that can travel well. It can be folded or rolled up and shoved in a backpack and will come out looking fine. It's light weight and easy to move in. You can even sit down and get back up without any difficulty. It looks exactly like the picture, unlike most costumes I've bought online. I guess for the price it's not a bad buy, but I wouldn't hold out on reusing the costume. There were stray strings all over the thing. The shorts came wrinkled as hell. The feather cap needed some serious pounding and shaping to make it look half-way decent again after being smooshed. If you need a quick, cheap costume, this is your deal.
For me, I will be picking up a real pair while in Germany in March.Poor Quality

we got it for my husband (5'7" 160) and it was about 2 inches to short in the croch and in the shoulders, and about 24 inches to big in the waist(we got the standard size)

I once dressed as a friar for Halloween and wore this costume. The costume pack includes the robe, collar with hood, a belt, and a necklace. Everything about this costume is cheap. The material of the robe and hood are very thin; it's thick enough that it's not see-through, but if you don't have other clothes on underneath you will freeze. The belt is just a piece of white nylon rope and the cross necklace is a thin piece of material that is gold on one side and white on the other attached to a thin gold necklace. You can find better monk and friar costumes, but most of them cost more money. If you're looking for something that's inexpensive and aren't planning on going commando underneath, then this MONKS ROBE works fine.OK

It is not entirely obvious from the photo, but this robe is TIGHT. That is, the circumference at the base is very narrow, preventing you from moving your legs apart and making it difficult to walk at a normal pace. I ended up cutting slits down both of the sides so that I wouldn't fall over.
Also, the material is very cheap and looks artificial. I ended up buying another, more expensive robe locally and trashing this one.

The thing is not the one shown and described online. So, The top is OK, but the headband has nothing to do with its description: absolutely different colors, only four (!!!) feathers which look really poor! Moreover, the headband was very DIRTY! How can one wear this?! I asked for exchange, but was answered that it couldn't be replaced. The seller offered some discount for this purchase and as I had no time to look for something else (my son needed it for the school party), I agreed. Still frustrated.Misleading product picture!
